Het contract met de gemeente Ukkel loopt ten einde en de gemeente neemt vanaf september 2026 de werking over onder een andere naam. De afgelopen jaren mochten we heel wat nieuwe fietsertjes in Ukkel blij maken en we hopen oprecht dat u het concept van een fiets die meegroeit met je kind kon smaken. De Fietsbieb opening komende zaterdag 11 juli wordt de laatste.
Als bestaand lid van Fietsbieb Ukkel verandert er niets, dit wordt door de gemeente overgenomen. Midden september mag u alle praktische communicatie verwachten vanuit de gemeente. Je hoeft momenteel dus niets te doen. Lidmaatschappen die in augustus vervallen worden automatisch met een maand verlengd.

Le contrat avec la commune d’Uccle arrive à son terme et, à partir de septembre 2026, la commune reprendra les activités sous un autre nom.
Ces dernières années, nous avons pu faire le bonheur de nombreux jeunes cyclistes et nous espérons sincèrement que vous avez apprécié le concept d’un vélo qui grandit avec votre enfant.
L’ouverture de la Fietsbieb/Vélothèque ce samedi 11 juillet sera la dernière. En tant que membre actuel de la Fietsbieb/Vélothèque d’Uccle, rien ne change pour vous : la reprise sera assurée par la commune. Vous recevrez toutes les informations pratiques de la part de la commune à la mi-septembre. Vous ne devez donc rien faire pour le moment. Les adhésions qui expirent en août seront automatiquement prolongées d’un mois.

Dear Fietsbieb members,
The contract with the municipality of Uccle is coming to an end, and from September 2026 onwards the municipality will take over the operations under a different name. Over the past years, we have had the pleasure of making many young cyclists in Uccle happy, and we sincerely hope you have appreciated the concept of a bike that grows with your child. The Fietsbieb opening this coming Saturday, July 11, will be the last.
As an existing member of Fietsbieb Uccle, nothing will change for you, as the service will be taken over by the municipality. You can expect all practical communication from the municipality in mid-September. There is nothing you need to do at this time. Memberships expiring in August will automatically be extended by one month.
